Replaces One or More Missing Natural Teeth
Having your natural teeth extracted and switching to dentures is an important change in your life. There are many new experiences to come, but it all starts with your first denture.
During your first six months with dentures, there will be considerable shrinkage in your jawbones. Through the My First Denture program, bone loss is reduced and minimized via the use of an immediate denture. This offers you a few important benefits:
- Protect gum tissue & reduce bleeding
- Minimize facial distortion
- Ensure you will always have your smile
To maintain optimum comfort (included in the fee), 4 temporary liner or tissue conditioner will be placed in the denture at 45 day intervals. After the healing process is complete we remove all temporary material and do a permanent reline (not included in fee)

More About Partial Dentures
- Brush your gums, tongue, and your natural teeth every morning prior to putting in your dentures. This keeps your mouth clean and greatly reduces the chances of complications occurring.
- Brush your dentures daily to prevent the build up of plaque, food deposits, and pathogens. An ultrasonic cleaner is a good way to clean your dentures, but it is not a replacement for brushing.
- Ensure that your dentures are stored in cleansing solution (or cool, clean water if no solution is available) when they are not being worn. This will prevent your dentures from drying out.
- Ensure that you handle your dentures with care. They are somewhat fragile and may break if dropped or banged against something (such as a door or wall).
